Hi all

Just thought I would say hello.

I'm an old guy with an eclectic background.

I learned programming in Fortran in the '60's (told you I was old)

More computer stuff in the military.

Bought my first personal computer in the '70's

Got into the clone business in the '80's, and sold the business, just in time, in the early '90's

Currently addicted to Oblivion and the forums.

I probably won't be of much use to anyone here, but, from time to time, I might surprise you with an interesting tidbit.

Seems like a friendly place, and doesn't seem to be the kind of place that'll be attracting the likes of "Oh My God, my Oblivion doesn't work, fix it for me now"

LMAO I hope not. I try to give tips every once in awhile but sometimes you just gotta shake your head at some of the requests.

Anyway, welcome to the forum Qwax!

I feel like this is an adult oriented forum but not in the way most people use the word "Adult". People here are a little older than the "Give me a sword bigger than my character" crowd.

Welcome to the forums. I think you'll find it a friendly place.

Would "Mature" fit? Or just make us all sound like old farts?

I like the term "Adult Learner" and feel that is where I am with Oblivion mods. I look forward to your tidbits. Welcome Quaxalot.

I've noticed a large influx of new members lately. Most haven't said much, but I thought I'd send you all a warm welcome anyway. Glad to have you visiting us here!

Obligatory glitter fairy, here you go:

Hello I'm just another newbie that has decided to drop in and say hi.
I have been a fan of Oblivion for a couple years now and i have finally decided to start getting to know others that like oblivion too. I've been trying to intergrate as much Devil May Cry stuff into oblivion for a while now, other than just the weapons and Dante's clothes. Anyway...I intend on trying to get more into the modding aspect of Oblivion as much as i can so i won't just be one of those fourm lurkers.
